RPM Financial Group helps cybersecurity and GovCon professionals in Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia make sure their family is protected as their income grows. We help you look at insurance coverage, beneficiaries, and the financial side of your estate plan. RPM does not draft legal documents; those come from your own estate attorney or a document service, and we coordinate with them.

Does my employer's life insurance cover enough?
Often it does not. Employer coverage is commonly a multiple of salary and usually ends when you leave. We help you estimate what your family would actually need and how to compare options.
What is the difference between a will and a trust?
A will states your wishes and generally goes through probate. A trust can hold assets and may avoid some of that process. Which tools fit you depends on your family, assets, and state, so an estate attorney should advise on your documents.
How often should I review my beneficiaries?
At least every few years and after any major life event such as a marriage, birth, divorce, or death in the family. Beneficiary forms on retirement accounts and insurance often override what a will says, so they are worth checking.
How do I choose a guardian for my children?
It is a personal decision involving values, location, and finances. We help you think through the financial side, such as how a guardian would be supported, and your attorney helps you name the guardian in your documents.
